Our Mission
Flux exists to proactively support women who are leading UX and Design teams.
We aim to help them thrive in their professional and personal lives through connecting with community, investing time in personal development and sharing experiences and insights with other women facing the same challenges and opportunities.
We want to bring these incredible women together in meaningful ways, but also offer specific support that helps you become the best leader you can, for your teams, your impact and most importantly, for yourself.

As a member, you will be invited to a private group with your fellow UX and Design leaders to make new connections, get support and direction, as well as meet other women facing similar challenges.
We bring our members together in a private monthly virtual meet-up to stay connected and build on these important relationships.

Flux Convergence
In 2024 & 2025 we have hosted our flagship event, Flux Convergence, at The Barbican’s Conservatory in London, where we’ve brought 200+ Women together who are all established leaders in UX and Design.
The content has focused on subjects like what makes leadership impactful, the future of AI getting UXR a seat at the table, communicating the ROI of UX and the difficulties of navigating the challenges of being a leader.

Flux is all about the constant change and growth we face and conquer in our careers as design leaders and in our lives.

We wanted to create a space that enables the exploration of topics and constraints that uniquely face this group. That said, we aim to ensure some of our Flux events are open to a broader audience.

Our membership base cares very much about growing the design leaders of tomorrow and this group creates the space to learn how to do this. Flux does not focus on early career skill training and instead focusing on the skills needed to get to the next level once you have honed your craft.

We focus on design leadership and design management topics as well as ensuring we have the flexibility to discuss what might be top of mind for the group. Future topics including navigating layoffs, seeking sponsorship, and building buy in for your ideas and strategy.
